The first row is kept as a header. Duplicate detection by selected columns is not supported. Output uses UTF-8 with BOM. Formula protection may also change negative numbers or formula-like text, so review the result.

How duplicate rows are detected

The header row is kept. Rows are considered duplicates when every column matches. If you enable “Trim whitespace around each cell,” whitespace is removed before rows are compared. Removing duplicates by selected columns is not supported yet.

Handling CSV files safely

Some spreadsheet software interprets CSV values as formulas. This tool can prefix potentially executable values with an apostrophe. It may also change negative numbers or formula-like text, so review the output.
